Remix // Sex Of Insects – ‘I Can Hear The Light (Manuel Tur Remix)’

No Comments 193 Views

Founded in May 2016, Sex Of Insects draw many of their inspirations from artists such as Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and more recently Underworld, Daft Punk and Danny Tenaglia. After meeting Alexandra Bartashevich (vocals), Anatoly Ylotana (Ylotana Project) states that he knew that the project had found itself a new image due to her talent and originality. After the disappearance of their original Rhythm producer, Anatoly met with Roman Korablove (Rhythm) and together they’ve been working on shaping the band with creating a new sound.

I Can Hear The Light (Remix)’ is an intelligent play on basslines and vocals by remixer Manuel Tur, known for his remarkable reworks for high standing labels Poker Flat and Marc Romboy’s Systematic imprint on Mild Pitch.

Tur has welcomed remarkable support for earlier releases. His 2009 debut LP 0201 via Freerange was crowned Album of the Month by DJ Mag, IDJ called it a ‘majestic debut’ and gave it 10/10. At the 2009 Beatport Annual Awards, 0201 was nominated for “Best Deep House Artist” and “Best Deep House Track.”
