On November 6th, Russian electronic Wave producer Maltex released a brand new, exquisitely genre-swirling EP titled Journey Through My Mind. A single from the EP, ‘Lost’ is an aural excursion through the unknown; the abyss. Crystalline synth lines, pulsating bass and concisely curated percussion lead us into the immersion of Maltex’s undeniable complex psyche – hence the title of the EP. It’s an honest and raw representation of what goes through one’s mind in resonant form, and a clear window in which we can peer through into these notions, experiences and feelings on a much higher level than before.
