Italian producer and multi-instrumentalist, Mouth Water, has returned with another powerful project. His staggering album Technology Fueled Dream Obsolescence dropped on 19, December 2025 via the imprint Through The Void.
The album takes a look at the relationship between human connection in the digital age. It zooms in on emotional aspects like melancholy and introspection, as well as more abstract and nuanced elements such as society’s obsession with urgency and immediate accessibility, depth as well as movement.
Across 9 immaculately crafted tracks, Mouth Water’s production and technical ability shines in an uncanny manner. His love for 80’s inspired synth pop is showcased in tracks like ‘Smoke’ and ‘Rise’, while his more obscure and experimental side is reflected in ‘Simpet’ and ‘JJ – Give and Take’. It’s clear that Mouth Water has held nothing back when producing the album, as he boldly wears his heart on his sleeve from the start until the closing track.
