Known for his 80s inspired soundscape, Droid Bishop is a Los Angeles-based producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who shared his striking remix of I’MMORTAL’s ‘Killed U In A Dream’ on September 6th via the Immortality imprint.  

Droid Bishop has received wide acclaim for his artistry from the likes of Earmilk, New Retro Wave and Neon Nights, and boasts over 9 million Spotify plays so far. I’MMORTAL splits her time between London and New York. She’s a singer-songwriter, producer, creative director and visual artist. Her sound is influenced by the likes of Bjork, SOPHIE, Britney Spears and Lana Del Rey. 

The original track was produced by I’MMORTAL with extra production by Danis Zhang and drum programming by Duanna. Droid Bishop transforms the track into a hauntingly magnificent masterpiece, infusing it with an 80s retro-futuristic flair. The remix encapsulates the otherworldliness of the track, as well as the dark, mystical universe I’MMORTAL has birthed through its creation. It features sumptuous synths, a throbbing bassline and entrancing chord progressions.
