KIDSØ have shared a remix of their new track ‘Sparkle’, with The Mountain Howl drafted as a remixer. The Munich-based live electronic duo have been serving up plenty of fresh helpings of cool, and have already racked up over a million Spotify plays, featuring on popular Spotify playlist Chill Tracks.
Moritz Grassinger and Martin Schneider have been tinkering with electronic music since the ’90s, and have forged their own unique sound in the form of KIDSØ. The remix uses elements of the original track, but the duo has let The Mountain Howl make this track his own, adding a Max Cooper-esque vibe to his reworking.
He gives some insight: “For the remix, I wanted to find some hidden textures and odd rhythms and celebrate them. Martin and Moritz have been good friends for a while now, and I’m always in awe of the tonality in their music. I wanted to really hone in on a few elements and see how I could evolve the track, from start to end with only a few ingredients.”
