On March 29th, 2024, Quiet Storm, also known as the renowned celebrity stylist Dean Aslett, released his latest single, ‘Song On The Radio’, accompanied by a music video. Originally from Croydon, he now divides his time between London and Mykonos. His previous singles, including ‘Lady Show Me’, ‘I Could Almost Cry’, ‘You Make Me Shudder’, and ‘Your World’, all secured consecutive Top 10 Chart positions in Music Week UK. ‘This Place’ received acclaim from EARMILK, while ‘Song On The Radio’ has garnered support from NOTION. Additionally, his music has been featured on NPR Music. Having styled A-listers like Princess Diana, Elton John, and members of Duran Duran, Dean has shifted his focus to music full-time, consistently refining his sound with each new release.

In ‘Song On The Radio,’ Quiet Storm shifts from dreamy to assertive synth-pop, with producer Chase Emery Davis crafting an irresistibly danceable track. The accompanying video delves into intimate themes of power and surrender with a steamy allure.

Quiet Storm revealed:‘Song On The Radio’ simply came from a desire to create something a bit different and more assertive, “in yer face” to what I normally create which is normally more abstract. I don’t normally go in for big choruses but this one just came out of nowhere and sounds more American than European with a slight late 70s new wave touch. Obviously the song is about personal betrayal and the song was a cathartic release.”
